The Transportation Policy Board (TPB) is the decision-making body of the Rio Grande Valley MPO. Members of the TPB serve as spokespersons for citizens of the county as well as each city in the metro area. The TPB is responsible for creating policies regarding transportation planning issues. The board includes local officials (elected) and county representatives, transit agencies, and transportation agencies.

The TPB meets on the 3rd Wednesday of the month month at 1:30 PM at the LRGVDC Ken Jones Conference Room in Weslaco, TX. The meetings are open for public comment. Contact Adriana Estrada at aestrada@rgvmpo.org for more information.

The policy committee consists of elected officials from each city counties of Hidalgo and Cameron Counties who serve as spokespersons for the citizens of the county and cities in
